Tanggung Jawab
- Operate and maintain main propulsion systems, auxiliary machinery, and cargo pumping systems
- Monitor engine performance and conduct preventive maintenance schedules
- Supervise junior engineering staff and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Manage fuel and lubricant consumption optimization programs
- Coordinate with Chief Engineer during machinery overhauls and repairs
- Prepare technical reports and maintenance documentation
- Ensure compliance with MARPOL and SOLAS regulations
Kualifikasi
- Certificate of Competency as Second Engineer (STCW compliant)
- Minimum 2 years experience on oil/chemical tankers
- Strong knowledge of cargo handling systems for hazardous materials
- Valid medical certificate and seafarer's identification documents
- Proficiency in English communication (oral and written)
- Problem-solving skills for emergency machinery situations
- Familiarity with PMS (Planned Maintenance Systems)
