We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced deck officer to join our team and ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant transport of cement across international trade routes. Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct safe navigation duties, including plotting courses, monitoring radar and GPS, and ensuring the vessel's safe passage through international waters.
- Oversee cargo operations, specifically the handling and securing of cement, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations and cargo integrity.
- Ensure full compliance with international maritime regulations, including SOLAS, MARPOL, and the ISM Code.
- Conduct regular safety drills and maintain the vessel's life-saving and fire-fighting equipment.
- Perform watchkeeping duties in accordance with STCW standards and company policies.
- Maintain accurate navigational records and perform periodic updates on charts and publications.
- Assist the Chief Mate with the maintenance of deck department machinery and general ship upkeep.
Kualifikasi
- Valid Certificate of Competency (COC) as Second Mate, Class 2 (or Class 1).
- Valid STCW certificates (Proficiency in Survival Craft, Fire Fighting, Medical First Aid, Medical Care).
- Previous experience on Cement Carriers or Bulk Carriers is highly preferred.
- Valid Medical Certificate issued by a recognized medical practitioner.
- Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in a physically demanding maritime environment.
