Tanggung Jawab
- Assist Master in voyage planning, route optimization, and navigational decision-making
- Monitor and maintain navigational equipment including radar, GPS, and electronic chart systems
- Oversee cargo loading/discharging operations for cement bulk carriers
- Ensure compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, and international maritime regulations
- Conduct safety drills, equipment inspections, and emergency response procedures
- Manage deck operations including watchkeeping, maintenance, and inventory control
- Prepare navigational charts, passage plans, and voyage reports
Kualifikasi
- Valid Second Mate (OOW) Certificate of Competency (STCW compliant)
- Minimum 2 years deck officer experience on bulk carriers or similar vessels
- Familiarity with cement cargo handling procedures and bulk carrier operations
- Proficiency in ECDIS, radar, and modern navigational systems
- Strong knowledge of ISM Code, ISPS Code, and safety management systems
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Physical fitness for maritime operations and emergency response
