Tanggung Jawab
- Assist Master in safe navigation and voyage planning using ECDIS, radar, and traditional navigation methods
- Execute watch-keeping duties maintaining vessel position and collision avoidance protocols
- Oversee cargo loading/discharging operations ensuring proper stowage and lashing procedures
- Monitor vessel stability, draft conditions, and stress calculations throughout voyage
- Implement safety drills and emergency response procedures for fire, man overboard, and abandon ship scenarios
- Prepare navigational reports, voyage plans, and port clearance documentation
- Maintain compliance with international maritime regulations and company policies
Kualifikasi
- Certificate of Competency as Second Mate (STCW compliant) from recognized maritime authority
- Minimum 2 years sea experience on container vessels or similar cargo ships
- Proficiency in ECDIS, electronic charting systems, and modern navigation software
- Strong understanding of cargo operations, container handling, and lashing systems
- Valid medical fitness certificate and basic safety training certificates (STCW VI/1)
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in multicultural bridge and deck teams
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) with excellent communication skills
- Physical fitness for maritime operations and adverse weather conditions
