PERSOL is currently seeking a detail-oriented Security Operations Analyst to join our team for a 12-month contract based in the Woodlands area. In this role, you will be the first line of defense, actively monitoring our network infrastructure, identifying potential threats, and ensuring the integrity of our digital assets.

You will work closely with senior security engineers to refine incident response strategies and maintain compliance with organizational security policies. Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM platforms, firewalls, and endpoint protection systems.
- Conduct initial triage and incident investigation to determine the nature and scope of security events.
- Execute incident response playbooks to contain and remediate potential security breaches.
- Perform daily health checks on security appliances and verify system logs for anomalies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to implement patches and security hardening measures.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of security incidents and provide timely reports to stakeholders.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of security monitoring processes and detection rules.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a SOC (Security Operations Center) or IT security environment.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Firewalls).
- Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability scanners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to work under tight timelines.
- Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- CompTIA Security+, GCIH, or other relevant security certifications are highly preferred.
