Honeywell is seeking a highly skilled Senior Advanced Quality Engineer (Aerospace) to join our world-class manufacturing team at our Singapore River facility in the Central Region. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our aerospace systems, components, and maintenance procedures meet the absolute highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will drive Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and lead cross-functional teams to resolve complex quality challenges. A key aspect of this role is utilizing your deep knowledge of civil aviation regulations (specifically Part 145) to ensure continuous audit readiness and process excellence. You will act as a mentor, facilitating knowledge transfer to junior engineers and championing a culture of continuous improvement across our operations. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and manage Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) for aerospace components.
- Ensure compliance with civil aviation regulatory requirements, specifically focusing on Part 145 / SAR-145 and AS9100 standards.
- Lead root-cause analysis investigations for product quality escapes and implement robust Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and mentor junior quality engineers on advanced aerospace quality standards and processes.
- Conduct regular internal and external supplier audits to ensure adherence to corporate, customer, and regulatory quality requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve complex manufacturing quality issues.
- Track and analyze key quality metrics (KPIs) to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of quality engineering experience within the aerospace manufacturing or Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) sector.
- Strong working knowledge of aviation regulatory standards, particularly Part 145 and AS9100.
- Proven expertise in using core quality tools, including FMEA, SPC, MSA, and Root Cause Analysis methodologies (5-Whys, 8D).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to transfer knowledge effectively across teams.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical mindset with a passion for process optimization and engineering excellence.
