About the Role
PERSOL Singapore is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Associate / Assistant Manager (Procurement) to join our client, a prominent leader in the Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics sector. This is a contract position based in Changi, offering a competitive salary of up to SGD $6,200 per month.
This role is integral to the procurement function, focusing on strategic sourcing for MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations), logistics services, and indirect categories. You will drive cost-saving initiatives, manage key supplier relationships, and ensure the seamless supply of goods and services to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes including strategic sourcing, tendering, negotiation, and contract management.
- Identify and qualify new suppliers while maintaining strong partnerships with existing vendors.
- Drive continuous cost reduction and value improvement initiatives to meet annual savings targets.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Engineering, Operations, Warehouse) to align procurement strategies with business requirements.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to mitigate risks and ensure supply continuity.
- Ensure full compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, ideally within manufacturing, logistics, or MRO environments.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in SAP and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Deep understanding of the Singapore logistics and transport landscape is highly advantageous.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for MRO, logistics, and indirect categories to optimize total cost of ownership.
- Manage the full Request for Proposal (RFP) cycle, including bid evaluation, negotiation, and supplier selection.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) with suppliers.
- Conduct regular market intelligence and spend analysis to identify cost savings and process improvement opportunities.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance through KPI tracking and business reviews.
- Resolve critical supply issues and manage supplier relationship escalations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulatory frameworks in procurement activities.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant procurement experience (Manufacturing, Transport, MRO preferred).
- Strong commercial and negotiation acumen.
- Proficiency in SAP ERP systems is mandatory.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of sourcing strategies and contract law is an advantage.
