This is a pivotal role within our operations, reporting directly to the Manager – Business Improvement & Optimization / Project Manager for Underground Operations and Transformation.
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be at the forefront of driving operational excellence and digital transformation within our underground mining operations. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to map out current processes, identify key areas for improvement, and define the requirements for future state solutions. Your analytical insights will directly influence strategic business decisions, helping us optimize costs, enhance safety, and improve productivity. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in a dynamic industrial setting and possesses a strong blend of analytical, project management, and stakeholder communication skills.

Tanggung Jawab
- Lead business analysis activities for underground operations and transformation projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of current business processes, identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Elicit, document, and manage complex business and technical requirements from diverse stakeholders.
- Develop detailed business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and feasibility studies to support project funding decisions.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to gather requirements and drive consensus among cross-functional teams.
- Create and maintain process maps, user stories, functional specifications, and traceability matrices.
- Collaborate with project managers, IT teams, and operational experts to design and implement effective solutions.
- Monitor project outcomes, measure benefits realization, and recommend continuous improvements to sustain operational excellence.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field. MBA or relevant Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the mining, heavy industry, or engineering sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully managing the full lifecycle of business improvement or technology transformation projects.
- Strong proficiency in business process modeling (BPMN), data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI), and project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to present to senior management and facilitate discussions among varied stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, PMP) are highly desirable.
