Are you an experienced procurement professional looking to make a significant impact in the manufacturing sector? Our organization is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Senior Buyer to join our dynamic team in Tanauan City, Batangas. In this role, you will be the backbone of our supply chain operations, responsible for sourcing high-quality materials, negotiating favorable contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods to maintain seamless production cycles.
The successful candidate will possess a keen eye for market trends, a strong ability to build vendor relationships, and the technical expertise to optimize procurement costs without compromising on quality. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including logistics, operations, and finance, to streamline purchasing workflows and drive bottom-line growth.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies to meet company manufacturing requirements.
- Source, vet, and manage relationships with local and international suppliers to ensure reliability and cost-effectiveness.
- Negotiate complex contracts, pricing agreements, and service-level agreements (SLAs) to maximize value.
- Analyze market conditions and price trends to forecast procurement needs and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Monitor vendor performance and implement improvement plans to ensure quality standards are met.
- Manage the end-to-end purchase order process, from requisition to invoice approval.
- Collaborate with the operations team to maintain optimal inventory levels and avoid production downtime.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record in vendor negotiation, contract management, and supply chain cost reduction.
- Proficiency in ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
- Professional certification in procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is highly preferred.
