Are you an experienced supply chain professional looking to make an impact at a global industry leader? Mattel is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Buyer to join our manufacturing hub in Cikarang. In this role, you will be the backbone of our procurement operations, ensuring that our world-class toys are produced with the highest quality raw materials, delivered on time, and procured with optimal cost efficiency.
As a Senior Buyer, you will engage with a global supplier network, manage complex procurement cycles, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for essential raw materials, ensuring alignment with production schedules.
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to achieve cost-saving targets without compromising quality.
- Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and maintain robust professional relationships with key vendors.
- Monitor market trends and commodity pricing to proactively mitigate supply chain risks and cost fluctuations.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including Production, Quality Control, and Finance, to streamline material flow.
- Analyze purchasing data to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements for increased efficiency.
- Negotiate favorable terms, payment conditions, and service-level agreements with suppliers.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in procurement, specifically in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving cost optimization.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent command of English and Indonesian, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
