StaffKing Pte Ltd is looking for an experienced Senior Compliance Executive to drive environmental, health and safety (EHS) excellence within our waste management operations in the West Region of Singapore. In this senior‑level role, you will be responsible for ensuring full adherence to Singapore’s environmental regulations, implementing best‑practice EHS programs, and supporting the company’s sustainability objectives.
You will collaborate closely with operations, legal, and senior leadership to embed compliance into everyday activities, while continuously improving processes to reduce risk and enhance environmental performance.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop, implement and monitor environmental compliance policies aligned with Singapore’s Environmental Public Health Act, WDA regulations, and ISO 14001 standards.
- Lead EHS audits and inspections, identify non‑conformities, and drive corrective actions to closure.
- Provide expert guidance on waste classification, handling, and disposal to ensure regulatory compliance and minimize environmental impact.
- Design and deliver training programs to raise awareness of EHS requirements across all levels of the organization.
- Prepare and submit statutory reports, permits, and license renewals to relevant authorities.
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard analysis, translating findings into actionable mitigation plans.
- Champion sustainability initiatives, including waste‑reduction projects and recycling programs.
- Liaise with external regulators, auditors, and stakeholders to maintain a positive compliance reputation.
Who You Are:
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in environmental compliance or EHS within the waste management, recycling, or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore environmental legislation, NEA guidelines, and ISO 14001/ISO 45001 frameworks.
- Proven ability to conduct internal and external audits, with a track record of driving continuous improvement.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in training development and delivering engaging EHS presentations.
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with compliance management software is a plus.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
