Tanggung Jawab
- Lead daily food preparation and cooking activities in compliance with institutional recipes and dietary requirements.
- Ensure all food production meets strict food safety and hygiene standards as per NEA/SFA regulations.
- Manage inventory levels and oversee the efficient storage of kitchen supplies and raw ingredients.
- Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff to ensure consistency and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the catering team to ensure timely delivery of meals to various hospital wards and departments.
- Monitor and record food temperatures to maintain quality control and compliance.
- Assist in the development of new, nutritious, and cost-effective menu items for the hospital.
Kualifikasi
- Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts, Food Preparation, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a hospital, hotel, or large-scale catering environment.
- Possess a valid Food Hygiene Officer or Basic Food Hygiene certification.
- Strong understanding of food safety protocols, HACCP standards, and nutritional requirements.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.
- Proven ability to lead a team and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude toward team collaboration.
