Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and cook Western-style menu items according to standard recipes and high-quality presentation guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation at all times.
- Monitor food stock levels and assist in inventory management to minimize waste and control costs.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is functioning correctly and safe for use.
- Train junior staff and junior cooks on proper cooking techniques, plating, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and efficient service during peak hours.
- Control portion sizes strictly to ensure food cost targets are met.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Senior Cook or Chef in a Western food establishment.
- Strong knowledge of Western cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles.
- Ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent knife skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Valid Food Handler's certificate or equivalent hygiene training (preferred).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects when necessary.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
