Equinix is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Center Critical Facilities Specialist to join our dynamic team in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. As a key player in our global infrastructure network, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of reliability, availability, and safety for our mechanical and cooling systems. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and optimization of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, chillers, generators, and UPS units.
- Lead and execute preventive maintenance programs to ensure 24/7 system availability and minimize downtime.
- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot complex facility failures during emergency situations.
- Ensure compliance with local safety regulations, environmental standards, and Equinix operational policies.
- Manage the calibration and configuration of Building Management Systems (BMS) and fire safety systems.
- Conduct regular facility audits and inspections to identify potential risks and operational inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with external vendors and contractors to ensure high-quality service delivery for major projects.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in data center facilities management or critical facilities engineering.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, cooling towers, BMS, and electrical switchgear.
- Certification in facility management or fire safety (e.g., NICET, IFMA) is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to work on-call or during outages as required.
- Proficiency in using CMMS software (e.g., IBM TRIRIGA) is a plus.
