We are currently seeking a talented Senior Data Engineer to join our Game Technology team. This is a critical role that plays a significant part in the entire lifecycle of our games, from design and development to live operations and optimization.
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and architectures that power our game analytics. You will collaborate closely with game designers, product managers, and data scientists to transform complex game telemetry into actionable insights. Your work will directly impact our ability to optimize user acquisition, retention, and monetization strategies through data-driven decision-making. - Design and implement scalable, high-performance data pipelines for real-time game telemetry and player behavior analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional game development teams to define data requirements and integrate analytics into game loops.
- Optimize data warehouse performance and ensure data integrity across distributed systems.
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting tools to support live game operations and strategic decision-making.
- Mentor junior data engineers and establish best practices for coding, testing, and deployment in a fast-paced environment.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in the gaming or interactive entertainment industry.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, and deep knowledge of SQL.
- Experience with distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark) and message queues (e.g., Kafka, Pulsar).
- Familiarity with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Hive) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).
