Are you an expert in quantitative analysis with a passion for risk management? ByteDance is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our elite Internal Audit team in Singapore. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing independent assurance and evaluating the effectiveness of our complex machine learning models, algorithms, and data ecosystems.
As part of a global function, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify systemic risks and drive data-informed improvements across ByteDance's diverse digital landscape. Tanggung Jawab
- Design and execute advanced data-driven audits to assess the robustness, fairness, and accuracy of AI/ML models.
- Develop automated testing frameworks to monitor model performance and detect potential anomalies in real-time.
- Perform deep-dive analysis on internal data infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and control gaps.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure models adhere to regulatory standards and internal risk policies.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports and dashboards for executive management detailing risk exposure and mitigation strategies.
- Continuously optimize internal audit methodologies using statistical modeling and data science techniques.
- Mentor junior team members and promote a culture of data quality and proactive risk management.
Kualifikasi
- Master’s or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in data science, risk modeling, or model audit, preferably within the tech or financial sector.
- Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL with a strong track record of building complex analytical models.
- Deep understanding of model risk management frameworks and relevant industry regulations.
- Experience with large-scale data environments and distributed computing (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Hive).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently in a global, fast-paced, and matrixed organization.
