Our team in Petaling Jaya is expanding, and we are seeking a talented Senior Data Warehouse Engineer to join us in building next-generation data platforms.
As a Senior Data Warehouse Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance data warehouses in the cloud. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and decision-makers to understand data needs and translate them into robust, well-structured data models. Your expertise in data modelling will be critical to ensure our data platforms are efficient, reliable, and prepared to support advanced analytics, machine learning, and reporting.
In this role, you will lead the development of ETL/ELT pipelines, optimize data storage and retrieval, and implement data governance policies. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, contribute to architectural decisions, and stay up-to-date with the latest trends in data engineering and cloud computing.

Tanggung Jawab
- Architect and implement cloud-based data warehouse solutions (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Amazon Redshift).
- Design and maintain dimensional data models and data marts to support business intelligence.
- Develop and maintain efficient ETL/ELT pipelines using modern tools (Airflow, dbt, or custom Python).
- Ensure data quality and consistency through rigorous testing, validation, and monitoring.
- Optimize warehouse performance, including query tuning and cost management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Mentor junior data engineers and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of professional experience in data warehousing, data engineering, or similar.
- Deep understanding of data modelling techniques (star schema, snowflake, 3NF) and best practices.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools and automation (Airflow, dbt, or equivalent).
- Strong programming skills in Python (or Scala/Java).
- Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
