Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement individualized medical nutrition therapy (MNT) for patients with various stages of chronic kidney disease (CKD).
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments, providing ongoing counseling and education to patients and their families.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of nephrologists, nurses, and social workers to deliver holistic patient care.
- Design, evaluate, and update renal-specific meal plans and nutritional care protocols based on the latest evidence-based guidelines.
- Lead community outreach programs and health talks to promote kidney health and disease prevention through nutrition.
- Mentor and supervise junior dietitians, dietetic interns, and allied health assistants.
- Monitor patient progress meticulously, adjusting dietary interventions to manage comorbidities such as diabetes and hypertension effectively.
- Contribute to clinical research, audits, and quality improvement initiatives to advance the field of renal nutrition.
Kualifikasi
- Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) with the Singapore Nutrition and Dietetics Association (SNDA) or equivalent international credential.
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a closely related field from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of clinical experience, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in renal nutrition or chronic disease management.
- In-depth knowledge of the nutritional implications of kidney disease, dialysis, and transplantation.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively educate and motivate patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing clinical team.
- Proficiency in healthcare IT systems, including Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Demonstrated experience in patient education, program development, and community health engagement.
