We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Electrical Drafter to join our engineering team. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate directly with project engineers and technical leads to produce high-quality, detailed technical drawings and documentation for large-scale utility solar projects. Your work will directly impact the successful planning and execution of renewable energy infrastructure.
This is a home-based position that offers the flexibility of remote work while allowing you to contribute to significant industry projects. We are seeking a detail-oriented professional who can translate complex engineering concepts into precise, code-compliant designs.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and single-line diagrams for utility-scale solar PV plants and substations.
- Work closely with engineers to interpret design requirements and convert them into accurate CAD drawings and models.
- Conduct site visits or review field data to prepare redline drawings and as-built documentation.
- Ensure all drafting work complies with local electrical codes (e.g., NEC) and international standards.
- Create and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and wiring diagrams for equipment procurement.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil and mechanical engineers, to ensure system integration.
- Prepare technical specifications and support the preparation of project reports and submission packages.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical drafting, specifically within the utility-scale solar or renewable energy sector.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD software with advanced electrical tool proficiency.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, grounding, and protection schemes.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proven track record of error-free technical documentation.
- Ability to work effectively and independently in a remote/home-based work environment.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
