In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for offshore platforms and topside modules. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead electrical engineering design activities for topside modules and offshore platforms
- Develop electrical system specifications, single-line diagrams, and wiring designs
- Perform calculations for cable sizing, short-circuit analysis, and load flow studies
- Coordinate with procurement teams for equipment selection and vendor management
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as IEC, API, and NEMA regulations
- Provide technical guidance and support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases
- Review and validate engineering deliverables from contractors and suppliers
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution
- Minimum 5 years of experience in offshore or marine electrical engineering
- Proficiency in electrical design software such as ETAP, Dialux, or AutoCAD Electrical
- Strong understanding of power distribution, motor controls, and lighting systems
- Experience with hazardous area classifications and explosion protection concepts
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for cross-functional collaboration
- Prior experience in topside or subsea electrical engineering projects is highly advantageous
