At Environ Consulting Services (M) Sdn Bhd, we are a leading engineering consultancy dedicated to delivering innovative solutions for high-rise and complex building projects across Malaysia. We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Senior Electrical Engineer to join our expanding team in Kuala Lumpur.
In this senior-level role, you will take full ownership of the electrical systems design for iconic high-rise and complex building developments. You will be responsible for leading the design of power distribution, backup power, lighting, fire alarm, and ELV systems, ensuring full compliance with Malaysian standards (MS IEC, UBBL) and international best practices. You will work in close collaboration with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and contractors to deliver fully integrated design solutions that are cost-effective, sustainable, and efficient.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing technical drawings, calculations, and specifications; coordinating with authorities and utility companies; managing project budgets and schedules; conducting site supervision; and providing technical leadership to junior engineers and CAD technicians.

Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the design and development of electrical systems for high-rise and complex building projects, including power distribution, lighting, fire detection, and ELV systems.
- Prepare and review technical specifications, drawings, calculations, and reports in accordance with local codes and standards.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and contractors to ensure integrated system design.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues during construction, ensuring compliance with design intent and quality standards.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to deliver projects on schedule and within scope.
- Liaise with clients, authorities, and utility companies to obtain approvals and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and CAD technicians.
- Participate in design reviews, value engineering, and sustainability initiatives.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent recognized by BEM.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) is highly advantageous.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in electrical engineering design for high-rise and complex buildings.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
- In-depth knowledge of Malaysian regulations, including MS IEC, UBBL, and Suruhanjaya Tenaga requirements.
- Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, and CT Power systems.
- Strong project management skills, with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
