This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Malaysian Firmware Engineering Team, focusing on the design and implementation of robust, high-performance embedded software for our connected playground equipment.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between hardware and software, defining system architectures and delivering firmware that powers our next generation of smart products. You will be responsible for writing efficient C/C++ code, optimizing system performance, and ensuring the reliability of our IoT devices in various environmental conditions. Tanggung Jawab
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for microcontrollers and IoT devices using C and C++.
- Collaborate closely with hardware engineers to define system requirements and optimize hardware-software integration.
- Debug complex low-level issues, analyze memory usage, and optimize code for performance and power efficiency.
- Develop and execute comprehensive unit tests and integration tests to ensure software reliability.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and API references.
- Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior software engineers within the team.
- Stay updated with the latest embedded systems technologies and industry best practices.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in embedded software development.
- Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming languages.
- Extensive experience with embedded systems, ARM architectures, and microcontrollers.
- Deep knowledge of communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, and wireless protocols.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex system-level issues.
