Sanmina is a leading global provider of integrated manufacturing solutions, and we are looking for a highly skilled Senior CAD/CAM Engineer to join our elite engineering team in Singapore. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in bridging the gap between design and manufacturing, utilizing advanced software engineering techniques to optimize production processes and deliver high-precision engineering solutions.
As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for developing and applying innovative CAD/CAM methodologies to solve complex manufacturing challenges. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to investigate design constraints, implement robust programming strategies, and ensure the seamless transition from conceptual 3D models to high-quality machined components. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, test, and optimize CAD/CAM programs for complex multi-axis CNC machining processes.
- Translate engineering design requirements into efficient manufacturing workflows to improve cycle times and part quality.
- Collaborate with product design teams to ensure DFM (Design for Manufacturing) best practices are integrated from the early stages.
- Investigate production issues, troubleshoot technical bottlenecks, and implement effective engineering solutions.
- Develop custom scripts and automation tools to streamline the CAD/CAM workflow and software integration.
- Maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and programming libraries.
- Train and mentor junior engineers on advanced CAD/CAM software techniques and best practices.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in CAD/CAM engineering within a precision manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in industry-standard CAD/CAM software suites (e.g., Siemens NX, SolidWorks, Mastercam, or Creo).
- Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and technical drawing standards.
- Proven track record in multi-axis CNC programming and machining process optimization.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working in a cross-functional, global team environment.
