ASMPT is seeking a dedicated Senior Engineer or Engineer in New Product Development (NPD) – Product Quality to join our industry-leading team in Yishun. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the lifecycle of our cutting-edge semiconductor equipment, ensuring that quality is embedded into our design and manufacturing processes from the very first concept.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to identify risks, implement rigorous quality standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and facilitate product quality activities during the New Product Development (NPD) phase.
- Perform Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) to mitigate risks early in the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with R&D engineering to define quality benchmarks, testing protocols, and acceptance criteria for new components.
- Manage the qualification process for new products, ensuring adherence to global industry standards and customer requirements.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues found during development.
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics, providing actionable data to project stakeholders.
- Support cross-functional audits and process reviews to ensure design integrity and manufacturing readiness.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in product quality, reliability, or NPD roles within the semiconductor or high-tech equipment industry.
- Proficiency in quality management tools such as DFMEA, PFMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and 8D methodology.
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001 standards and quality control processes in manufacturing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to engineering challenges.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse engineering teams.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) is highly advantageous.
