In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between technical engineering specifications and strategic procurement. You will be responsible for ensuring that our high-precision equipment components meet stringent quality standards while optimizing cost, lead times, and supplier performance. You will play a critical role in driving design-for-manufacturing (DFM) initiatives, collaborating with global cross-functional teams to streamline our procurement roadmap. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead technical evaluation and procurement strategies for critical components and assemblies.
- Collaborate with R&D and Engineering teams to influence design-for-procurement and cost-optimization efforts.
- Perform comprehensive technical reviews of vendor quotes and engineering change notices (ECNs).
- Manage supplier quality and performance metrics to ensure adherence to geometric tolerances and material standards.
- Analyze supply chain bottlenecks and develop robust technical solutions to minimize production downtime.
- Conduct on-site supplier audits and technical troubleshooting as required.
- Mentor junior engineers and support cross-functional collaboration regarding procurement processes.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
- Typically 7+ years of relevant experience in a procurement or material engineering role within a high-tech manufacturing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Proficiency in CAD software and PLM systems (e.g., SAP, Teamcenter).
- Demonstrated expertise in technical sourcing, supplier relationship management, and cost-benefit analysis.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence technical decisions.
- Experience with semiconductor equipment or high-precision mechanical components is highly preferred.
