Bunge Loders Croklaan is a global leader in the sourcing, processing, and supplying of sustainable oils and fats for the food, foodservice, and feed industries. At our state-of-the-art facility in Pasir Gudang, Johor, we are committed to operational excellence, safety, and sustainability. We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Engineer, Maintenance (Mechanical) to lead our mechanical maintenance team and ensure the highest standards of plant reliability and efficiency.
As a Senior Engineer, Maintenance (Mechanical), you will be responsible for leading, planning, and directing all mechanical maintenance activities within the plant. You will play a critical role in handling emergent works and driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). This is a hands-on leadership role requiring deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving capabilities, and a steadfast commitment to safety.
Your primary mission will be to enhance the reliability of all mechanical assets and ensure the seamless operation of the facility. You will champion the adoption of best-in-class maintenance strategies, including predictive and precision maintenance techniques. By leveraging data and advanced diagnostics, you will proactively identify potential failures and implement robust solutions, minimizing downtime and extending equipment life.

Tanggung Jawab
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of mechanical technicians and engineers, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all mechanical equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, conveyors, etc.).
- Manage and coordinate all emergent and planned mechanical maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.
- Spearhead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations for major mechanical failures and implement robust corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., TPM, Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance equipment reliability, reduce costs, and improve overall plant efficiency.
- Manage the Mechanical Maintenance budget, including spare parts inventory, contractor management, and capital expenditure projects.
- Ensure strict compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations (e.g., DOSH, OSHA) and company policies.
- Collaborate with the Engineering and Projects teams on new installations, modifications, and plant upgrades.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing, oil & gas, or oleochemical environment. Experience in an MNC is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing technical teams.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices (RCM, TPM, FMEA), CMMS systems (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo), and reliability engineering concepts.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for complex mechanical systems, including rotating equipment, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) as a Professional Engineer (or actively pursuing registration) is a strong advantage.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
