They are seeking a Senior Engineer (Measurement / Metrology) to join their dynamic team in Joo Koon.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining precision measurement systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving continuous improvement in product quality. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement measurement systems and metrology processes for production lines.
- Conduct detailed analysis of measurement data to ensure product conformity and process capability.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to establish measurement standards and best practices.
- Lead calibration and maintenance of measurement equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Develop and deliver training programs on metrology techniques and equipment usage.
- Investigate and resolve measurement-related issues, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Participate in new product introductions, defining measurement requirements and strategies.
- Stay updated with industry advancements in metrology and recommend technology upgrades.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related field).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in measurement/metrology within manufacturing, preferably in electronics or connector industry.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, calibration principles, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Hands-on experience with CMM, vision systems, laser scanners, and other precision measurement tools.
- Familiarity with ISO 17025, ISO 9001, or other quality management standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) is a plus.
