AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Enterprise Capabilities team in Bukit Damansara, Malaysia. As a global leader in infrastructure consulting, we deliver innovative solutions that enhance and sustain the world's built and natural environments.
In this role, you will lead mechanical design and engineering activities for a variety of projects, ensuring technical excellence and client satisfaction. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget while mentoring junior engineers. Key aspects include applying advanced engineering principles, conducting analyses, and developing specifications. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for infrastructure projects.
- Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and analyses to validate designs.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and regulations.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians.
- Participate in project planning, scheduling, and cost estimation.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to support construction and commissioning.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent registration.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection systems, or infrastructure-related mechanical design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and engineering analysis software.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in the consulting industry is an advantage.
