Gammon Construction is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Engineer / Project Engineer (Civil & Structural) to join our dynamic engineering team in the North Region. As a key player in our operations, you will be responsible for overseeing complex construction projects, ensuring they are executed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and structural integrity. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and supervise site construction activities to ensure strict adherence to project specifications and structural drawings.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams to streamline site workflows and resolve technical issues in real-time.
- Manage project documentation, including method statements, inspection reports, and progress updates for senior management.
- Oversee rigorous quality control and safety compliance protocols on-site to minimize risks and ensure zero-harm objectives.
- Monitor project schedules and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of construction milestones within budget.
- Perform regular site inspections and report on technical progress, identifying potential design discrepancies or construction conflicts early.
- Facilitate effective communication between site personnel and the design office to ensure construction feasibility.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in civil and structural construction, preferably in large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and construction practices in Singapore.
- Proven ability to read and interpret complex structural, architectural, and M&E drawings.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams of contractors and site staff.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, BIM/Revit, or structural analysis tools is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset under high-pressure environments.
