Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad (MRCB) is a leading integrated property and infrastructure developer in Malaysia. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer, Project (WTE) to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. In this critical role, you will be responsible for assisting in the technical execution, engineering design review, and startup of our Waste to Energy (WTE) facility. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a sustainable energy project and make a significant impact on Malaysia's renewable energy landscape.
As a Senior Engineer, you will provide technical expertise and leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from design and procurement to construction and commissioning. You will ensure that the engineering designs meet specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements. You'll lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with contractors and consultants, and drive the successful delivery of the WTE facility.
Key aspects of the role include overseeing the implementation of mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering works, reviewing technical drawings and reports, conducting site visits, and resolving technical issues. You will also play a key role in the plant's startup and commissioning, ensuring systems are tested and operational ready.

Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and manage the technical execution of the Waste to Energy facility project, ensuring adherence to design specifications and project schedules.
- Conduct thorough engineering design reviews for mechanical, electrical, and civil systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to facilitate seamless project integration.
- Oversee the procurement process for major equipment and materials, ensuring technical suitability and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage the commissioning and startup activities, including testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project staff.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
- Ensure all health, safety, and environmental protocols are strictly followed during project execution.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related Engineering field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in power generation, waste-to-energy, or heavy industrial projects.
- Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) as a Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of engineering design principles, project management methodologies, and local regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in project execution, including design review, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities, with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in project management software and engineering tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, etc.).
