Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Engineer, Supplier Quality to join our team in Bayan Lepas. This critical role is responsible for leading a team of Supplier Quality Engineers (SQE) and Incoming Material Quality Assurance (MQA) professionals. You will drive the strategic direction of the MQA department, focusing on maintaining robust quality systems, managing supplier performance, and spearheading continuous improvement projects aimed at defect reduction and cost optimization.

Tanggung Jawab
- Manage, mentor, and evaluate the performance of a team of Supplier Quality Engineers (SQE) and Material Quality Assurance (MQA) personnel.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the MQA department, ensuring timely and accurate inspection of incoming raw materials.
- Lead supplier qualification, periodic audits, and performance scorecard reviews to maintain a high-quality supply base.
- Drive root cause investigation and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for supplier quality issues.
- Establish and monitor key quality metrics (PPM, DPPM, LRR) and report to management on supplier quality trends.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Procurement teams during new product introductions (NPI) to ensure supplier readiness and capability.
- Spearhead continuous improvement and cost reduction projects across the supply chain using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other relevant quality management system standards.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related field).
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of quality tools including FMEA, PPAP, APQP, MSA, and SPC.
- Hands-on experience with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 QMS requirements and supplier auditing (Certified Lead Auditor preferred).
- Proven track record in managing supplier quality in the EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) or semiconductor industry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) is highly advantageous.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across functions.
- Proficiency in English is required; multilingual ability is a plus.
