- Analyze engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements to develop accurate cost estimates
- Calculate material costs, labor expenses, and overhead for various engineering projects
- Prepare detailed bid proposals and cost breakdowns for clients and stakeholders
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure comprehensive estimation
- Identify potential risks and opportunities for cost optimization in project estimates
- Maintain and update historical cost data and estimation databases
- Review and validate estimates prepared by junior estimators
- Stay current with industry trends, material costs, and estimation methodologies
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering estimation, preferably in manufacturing or logistics
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools such as CostX, WinEst, or similar platforms
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards
- Experience with project management and scheduling software
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills for explaining complex estimates
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
