Are you passionate about environmental sustainability and public service? The Municipal Government of Paracale, Camarines Norte is seeking a dedicated Senior Environmental Management Specialist to lead our green initiatives and ensure strict compliance with national and local regulations.
In this pivotal role, you will act as a key advisor to municipal officials, overseeing the implementation of environmental management plans and sustainable development strategies. You will be responsible for monitoring environmental compliance, analyzing data to inform policy decisions, and coordinating with various stakeholders to protect our natural resources. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement comprehensive environmental management plans and policies for the municipality.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental laws, including waste management and pollution control regulations.
- Conduct regular environmental impact assessments and audits for local projects.
- Oversee the execution of waste reduction, recycling, and resource recovery programs.
- Coordinate with community stakeholders, non-profit organizations, and other government agencies.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for the Municipal Council and Civil Service Commission.
- Train and guide junior staff on environmental best practices and safety protocols.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in environmental management, preferably within a government or public sector setting.
- Must possess a valid Professional Regulatory Board (PRB) license or Civil Service Eligibility.
- In-depth knowledge of Philippine environmental laws such as RA 9003 (Ecological Solid Waste Management) and RA 8749 (Clean Air Act).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret environmental data and technical reports.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for public speaking and report writing.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
