GMP Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Equipment Engineer (Etch) to join our client's leading semiconductor manufacturing facility in the heart of Singapore's technology hub, Ang Mo Kio. In this critical position, you will be the go-to expert for Etch equipment, ensuring maximum uptime, yield, and process stability. You will leverage your strong analytical skills to lead fault detection, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise will directly contribute to the success of advanced technology nodes, powering the next generation of semiconductor devices.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance strategies for advanced Etch equipment to maximize tool reliability and uptime.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve complex equipment and process issues in real-time, minimizing production disruptions.
- Drive process control and yield enhancement initiatives, utilizing SPC, FDC, and defect reduction methodologies within the Etch module.
- Lead equipment qualifications, hardware upgrades, and new installations to support technology ramps and capacity expansion.
- Collaborate with Process Engineering teams to evaluate and qualify new consumables, chemistries, and hardware configurations.
- Manage critical spare parts inventory and establish strong relationships with key equipment vendors (e.g., Lam Research, Applied Materials, TEL).
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and technical excellence.
- Document best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and safe equipment operation.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, or a closely related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as an Equipment Engineer in a 300mm semiconductor fab, with a specific focus on Etch equipment.
- Deep understanding of plasma physics, RF systems, vacuum technology, and gas delivery systems.
- Proven experience in fault detection, SPC, and systematic problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, DMAIC).
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as JMP, Spotfire, or Python for process monitoring and yield improvement.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
