Macquarie Group is looking for a highly motivated Senior Equity Research Analyst to join our team and focus on the Japan Technology sector. In this dynamic role, you will work closely with the sector head to leverage your financial expertise in identifying and articulating compelling investment opportunities within the evolving Japanese market.
You will be responsible for producing in-depth research reports, building complex financial models, and presenting your findings to institutional investors and sell-side clients. This position requires a deep understanding of cross-border trade, market trends, and the specific drivers of the Japanese technology landscape. Joining Macquarie’s expert team, you will gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of companies while contributing to high-impact investment strategies.
Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct in-depth fundamental analysis of Japanese technology companies, including startups and established conglomerates.
- Produce high-quality investment research reports, including Buy/Sell recommendations and investment thesis.
- Build and maintain complex financial models to forecast revenue, earnings, and valuation metrics.
- Present research findings to internal teams and external clients at conferences and meetings.
- Monitor macroeconomic trends and regulatory changes affecting the Japanese tech sector.
- Collaborate effectively with sales, trading, and investment banking teams to facilitate client access.
- Identify emerging market opportunities and potential risks in the technology space.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- CFA designation or CAIA is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in equity research, specifically covering the technology sector.
- Fluent in Japanese and English (both written and verbal).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear investment insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Deep knowledge of the Japanese business environment and corporate structure.
