OTA Indonesia is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Estimator to join our expanding manufacturing team in Klaten, Jawa Tengah. As a key player in our production lifecycle, you will be responsible for translating complex design specifications into precise material breakdowns and cost projections. This role is critical in ensuring our furniture manufacturing processes remain both competitive in the market and profitable for the company.
The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in the furniture industry, a sharp eye for material optimization, and the ability to work closely with production and procurement departments to streamline manufacturing workflows. You will play a vital role in the quoting process, ensuring that every project estimate reflects high standards of accuracy and operational efficiency.
Tanggung Jawab
- Analyze architectural drawings and design specifications to create detailed Material Take-Offs (MTO) for furniture production.
- Develop comprehensive cost estimates, including raw materials, labor, overhead, and manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to verify current market pricing for wood, textiles, hardware, and finishes.
- Identify potential cost-saving opportunities through material optimization and manufacturing efficiency improvements.
- Prepare and present detailed quotation reports for stakeholders and project managers.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of historical cost data and supplier price lists for future reference.
- Monitor production costs against original estimates to track variance and improve future estimation accuracy.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Wood Technology, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in furniture manufacturing, specifically in estimation or production planning.
- Strong proficiency in technical drawing interpretation (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design software).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex data analysis and cost modeling.
- Deep understanding of furniture construction techniques, wood types, and upholstery materials.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meet strict project deadlines.
- Strong communication skills in Indonesian; English proficiency is a significant advantage.
