The National University of Singapore (NUS) is seeking a meticulous and driven Senior Executive/Assistant Manager (Finance & Accounts) to join our esteemed finance team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing high-level financial oversight, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the strategic objectives of the department. As part of the NUS finance function, you will act as a key liaison between various administrative departments, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, budgetary control, and grant management. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including general ledger maintenance and accounts payable/receivable.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Manage budgeting processes, including forecasting, variance analysis, and tracking of departmental expenditures.
- Ensure strict adherence to university financial policies, internal controls, and relevant tax regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage grant funding, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
- Support the annual audit process by preparing necessary documentation and liaising with external auditors.
- Provide strategic financial advice to management to optimize resource utilization and operational efficiency.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or a related professional qualification (ACCA/CPA preferred).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in finance and accounting, ideally within the public sector or higher education institutions.
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of integrity regarding financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines.
