Are you a seasoned engineering professional looking to make a tangible impact on Singapore's public transport infrastructure? SMRT Trains is seeking a highly skilled Senior / Executive Engineer to join our Frontline Maintenance team for the Circle Line (CCL). In this critical role, you will be the backbone of our night shift operations, ensuring that our train fleet remains in peak condition to serve thousands of commuters during the morning rush hour.
You will lead specialized technical teams in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving complex electromechanical and software faults. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and supervise night-shift maintenance teams to ensure the timely completion of corrective and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis on complex train system faults to minimize service disruptions.
- Ensure all maintenance activities strictly adhere to SMRT’s rigorous safety standards and engineering protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional technical departments to improve fleet availability and reliability metrics.
- Manage technical documentation, fault reporting, and shift handover briefings to maintain operational continuity.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians during shift operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize maintenance workflows and reduce downtime.
Kualifikasi
- Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in maintenance, railway engineering, or heavy industrial equipment environments.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical, pneumatic, or signaling systems.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams in high-pressure, time-sensitive situations.
- Proficiency in reading technical schematics, circuit diagrams, and engineering software.
- Strong analytical mindset and a commitment to workplace safety (WSH).
- Willingness to perform shift work, including nights and weekends, as required by operational schedules.
