We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Executive, Payroll to join the finance team at the University of Cyberjaya. This is a key role within the organization, responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. You will act as the guardian of our payroll data, ensuring that all statutory obligations in Malaysia are met while maintaining strict confidentiality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll administration and a passion for supporting a dynamic educational institution.

In this position, you will oversee the monthly payroll cycle, handle complex payroll queries, and ensure that all employees are compensated correctly according to their contracts. You will also be responsible for preparing necessary statutory reports and reconciling payroll data with financial systems. Tanggung Jawab

  • Manage the full-cycle payroll process for all employees, ensuring accurate and timely salary payments.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all statutory requirements, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and income tax regulations.
  • Prepare and reconcile monthly payroll reports, including variance analysis and reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate leave records, attendance logs, and payroll adjustments within the HRIS system.
  • Handle payroll-related employee queries with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Process ad-hoc payroll requests, such as bonus calculations and loan deductions.
  • Collaborate with the Finance and HR departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll data.

Kualifikasi

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in full-cycle payroll processing, preferably within the education or corporate sector.
  • Strong working knowledge of Malaysian payroll laws, EPF, SOCSO, and EIS.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local equivalents).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
  • Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with complete confidentiality.
