Singapore Management University (SMU) Academy is seeking a highly organized Senior Executive, Planning & Operations to join our team on a 3-year contract. In this pivotal role, you will be the backbone of our academy’s daily functions, ensuring that our professional development and executive education courses run seamlessly.

As a Senior Executive, you will manage end-to-end logistical workflows, from course scheduling and resource allocation to venue management and stakeholder coordination. We are looking for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced academic environment, possesses strong problem-solving skills, and is committed to delivering a superior experience for our adult learners and industry partners.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Manage the end-to-end operational lifecycle of Academy courses, ensuring all logistical requirements are met ahead of schedule.
  • Coordinate venue bookings, catering arrangements, and audio-visual support to ensure high-quality learning environments.
  • Maintain accurate course databases and administrative documentation to ensure compliance with institutional and funding standards.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for instructors, participants, and internal departments to facilitate smooth program delivery.
  • Monitor and analyze operational workflows, identifying opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support for course deployment, including materials preparation and post-course reporting.
  • Support the team in managing system updates and digital platform administration related to course operations.

Kualifikasi

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in operations, administration, or program coordination, preferably within an educational or corporate training environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or CRM software.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally with diverse stakeholders.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to troubleshooting operational issues.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a team-oriented structure.
