The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) is seeking a highly disciplined and dedicated professional to join our team as a Senior Fire Officer 1 in Northern Mindanao. This is a critical role responsible for executing fire suppression, rescue, and emergency medical services while ensuring community safety and compliance with national fire codes.
As a Senior Fire Officer 1, you will play a pivotal role in operational leadership, mentoring junior personnel, and maintaining the readiness of firefighting apparatus and equipment. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and participate in fire suppression activities, ensuring rapid response and containment of fire incidents.
- Execute complex search and rescue operations during fire-related emergencies and natural disasters.
- Supervise junior fire personnel and oversee the maintenance of fire trucks, hoses, and life-saving equipment.
- Conduct regular fire safety inspections of public and private establishments to ensure compliance with the Fire Code of the Philippines.
- Develop and implement community fire prevention awareness programs and disaster preparedness drills.
- Prepare accurate incident reports, investigation summaries, and administrative documentation for regional command.
- Coordinate with local government units (LGUs) and disaster risk reduction management offices during emergency situations.
Kualifikasi
- Must be a Filipino citizen of good moral character.
- Possess a Bachelor's degree relevant to the job (Engineering, Criminology, or related fields preferred).
- Passed the Fire Officer Examination or equivalent Career Service Professional eligibility.
- Physically and mentally fit, with a height requirement as prescribed by BFP regulations.
- Experience in emergency response, firefighting, or disaster management is highly preferred.
- Strong command of English and Filipino, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to undergo rigorous field training and work on shifting schedules, including weekends and holidays.
