We are seeking a highly skilled Senior GeoModeller to join our geothermal projects team in Jakarta Raya. As a key technical expert, you will develop, interpret, and integrate complex 3D geological models to support resource assessment and drilling operations. Your work will directly contribute to optimizing geothermal reservoir characterization, reducing exploration risks, and maximizing field development efficiency. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate geological insights into actionable strategies for sustainable energy production.
This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and methodologies in geothermal modeling, contributing to Indonesia's renewable energy transition. You'll be responsible for ensuring model accuracy, validating geological hypotheses, and presenting technical findings to stakeholders. The position requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex geological concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and maintain high-resolution 3D geological models for geothermal reservoirs
- Integrate seismic data, well logs, and geological interpretations to build comprehensive subsurface models
- Collaborate with geophysicists, reservoir engineers, and drilling teams to align modeling objectives with operational goals
- Conduct sensitivity analyses and uncertainty quantification for model parameters
- Prepare technical documentation and present model results to project stakeholders
- Mentor junior geoscientists in geological modeling best practices
- Stay current with industry advancements in geothermal modeling techniques and software
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geophysics, or related field; Master's preferred
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in 3D geological modeling for energy projects
- Proficiency in geological modeling software (Petrel, RMS, or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of structural geology, stratigraphy, and reservoir characterization
- Experience with geothermal reservoir modeling is highly desirable
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia
