Are you an accomplished Professional Engineer with a Practising Certificate (PEPC) looking to elevate your career? Ag Staffing Malaysia is representing a prestigious BEM-registered Civil & Structural (C&S) consulting firm in Kuala Lumpur that is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead complex infrastructure and high-rise development projects.
In this pivotal role, you will be the technical authority for geotechnical design, oversight, and site supervision. You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver safe, innovative, and cost-effective foundation solutions. We are looking for a candidate with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of Malaysian soil conditions and regulatory requirements.
Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the geotechnical design and analysis for deep foundation systems, earth retaining structures, and slope stability.
- Provide expert technical advice on soil investigation reports and ground improvement strategies.
- Act as the lead consultant for geotechnical aspects of C&S projects, ensuring compliance with BEM and local authority standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and supervise the technical output of the design team.
- Manage project deliverables, including calculations, technical reports, and drawings, ensuring strict adherence to timelines.
- Conduct site inspections and provide professional guidance during the construction phase to resolve geotechnical challenges.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project managers to optimize foundation designs for cost and performance.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Must be a Professional Engineer with a Practising Certificate (PEPC) registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
- Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in geotechnical design within a C&S consulting environment.
- Proven track record in handling high-rise building projects and complex soil profiles.
- Proficiency in industry-standard geotechnical software (e.g., PLAXIS, SLOPE/W, or WALLAP).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead professional meetings and present complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of Malaysian Standards (MS) and Eurocodes as applied to geotechnical design.
