PERSOL is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Import & Export Officer to manage our international trade operations in the East Region. As a key member of our logistics team, you'll oversee the entire documentation lifecycle for cross-border shipments, ensuring compliance with global trade regulations while optimizing supply chain efficiency. You'll collaborate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders to resolve documentation discrepancies, track shipments in real-time, and maintain accurate records for audit purposes. This role requires proactive problem-solving skills to navigate complex international shipping requirements while maintaining strict adherence to INCOTERMS and local customs procedures. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and prepare comprehensive import/export documentation including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure timely clearance of shipments
- Monitor compliance with international trade regulations, customs laws, and company policies
- Resolve documentation discrepancies and track shipment status throughout the logistics chain
- Maintain organized digital archives of shipping records and transaction documents
- Collaborate with sales, purchasing, and warehouse teams to align shipping schedules
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement documentation process improvements
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in import/export operations and documentation
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS, customs procedures, and international trade regulations
- Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office applications (Excel, Word)
- Excellent attention to detail with ability to manage multiple documentation workflows
- Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities
- Certification in Logistics or Trade Compliance (e.g., CSCP, CLEP) is advantageous
