We are currently seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior IT Executive (Hardware) to join our technical operations team in Senai, Johor. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our internal IT infrastructure remains robust, scalable, and highly available to support our fast-paced manufacturing and business environment.
As a Senior IT Executive, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of hardware assets, ranging from high-performance server systems to end-user equipment. You will act as a bridge between technical requirements and operational excellence, ensuring that all IT operations run smoothly without interruption. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and proactive maintenance of server hardware, storage systems, and networking equipment.
- Develop and implement comprehensive hardware lifecycle management strategies, including procurement, deployment, and decommissioning.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for critical hardware failures and performance bottlenecks to minimize downtime.
- Manage relationships with hardware vendors and service providers to ensure high-quality support and competitive pricing.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance monitoring to ensure optimal hardware health and security compliance.
- Collaborate with the global IT team to implement infrastructure upgrades and standardization projects.
- Provide technical mentorship and escalation support to junior IT staff members.
- Maintain accurate documentation of hardware inventory, network diagrams, and technical procedures.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in IT hardware support, infrastructure management, or a similar role.
- Strong expertise in server chassis architecture, RAID configurations, and enterprise-grade hardware components.
- Proficiency in managing Windows Server and Linux environments at the hardware and driver level.
- Demonstrated experience in network hardware configuration (switches, routers, and firewalls).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis on complex hardware issues.
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Server+, or MCSE are highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English; ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
