Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Senior Laboratory Renovation Manager and Laboratory Infrastructure Subject Matter Expert (SME) to oversee critical infrastructure projects in Indonesia. In this high-impact role, you will act as the primary technical authority for the modernization, renovation, and sustainment of complex laboratory environments supporting U.S. government operations. You will bridge the gap between architectural design, regulatory compliance, and mission-critical functionality, ensuring that all facilities meet stringent international safety and operational standards.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a deep background in bio-containment, chemical laboratory safety, and large-scale industrial project management. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage vendor relationships, and navigate the unique technical challenges of infrastructure development in remote or specialized environments.
Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the full project lifecycle for laboratory renovations, from initial site assessment and conceptual design to final commissioning.
- Serve as the technical SME for laboratory infrastructure, ensuring compliance with international biosafety, HVAC, and power requirements.
- Develop and manage complex project schedules, budgets, and procurement requirements in alignment with U.S. government standards.
- Oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality control measures.
- Collaborate with international stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and local contractors to ensure project alignment and operational success.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks related to facility maintenance, system integration, and laboratory equipment installation.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff and project support teams on site.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in laboratory facility management, construction, or critical infrastructure projects.
- Proven expertise in specialized laboratory design, including BSL-2/BSL-3 environments and high-precision analytical testing facilities.
- In-depth knowledge of international building codes, safety standards (NFPA, OSHA, CDC/NIH guidelines).
- Strong project management skills, including familiarity with PMP, LEED, or similar methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to navigate cross-cultural professional environments.
- Experience supporting U.S. government contracts or international development projects is highly desirable.
