Join A*STAR's Institute of Microelectronics (IME) as a Senior/Lead Research Engineer specializing in wet technology for next-generation Gallium Nitride (GaN) semiconductors. Tanggung Jawab
- Design, develop, and optimize wet cleaning and etch processes for GaN-based power devices and RF components
- Lead process characterization and yield improvement initiatives using SEM, TEM, and XPS analysis
- Collaborate with device and integration engineers to develop process flows for next-generation GaN technologies
- Execute DOE (Design of Experiments) to optimize chemical bath formulations and process parameters
- Develop robust process control methodologies and troubleshoot yield-limiting defects
- Document technical reports, patents, and process transfer documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to cross-functional project roadmaps
Kualifikasi
- PhD or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in semiconductor wet processing (cleaning/etch) for compound semiconductors
- Expertise in GaN HEMT processing and III-V material handling
- Strong background in statistical process control and DOE methodologies
- Proficiency with semiconductor characterization tools (SEM, TEM, XPS, AFM)
- Track record of process optimization and yield improvement in fab environments
- Excellent technical writing skills and patent development experience
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical teams
