Cagamas Berhad, the National Mortgage Corporation of Malaysia, is seeking a high-caliber Senior Lead for Treasury Operations & Administration. This is a pivotal role for a finance professional with a deep understanding of capital markets, specifically regarding the lifecycle of bond and sukuk issuance.
In this capacity, you will provide critical oversight of treasury back-office functions, ensuring seamless settlement processes and regulatory compliance. You will act as a key liaison between front-office treasury teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory bodies. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the end-to-end treasury operational lifecycle, specifically focusing on bond and sukuk issuance activities.
- Manage settlement processes to ensure timely and accurate execution of treasury transactions.
- Develop and refine operational procedures to enhance efficiency and mitigate risk in treasury administration.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including custodian banks, paying agents, and rating agencies.
- Ensure full compliance with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) regulations and internal audit standards.
- Provide expert guidance on complex transaction issues and troubleshoot settlement discrepancies.
- Prepare periodic management reports on treasury activities, liquidity positions, and operational performance.
- Mentor junior team members to maintain high performance and compliance standards.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CFA).
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in treasury operations, specifically within banking or financial institutions.
- Deep knowledge of debt capital markets, with proven expertise in bond and sukuk issuance workflows.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements governing treasury operations in Malaysia.
- Proficiency in treasury management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to manage complex cross-functional relationships.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
