About the Role
TikTok is seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Senior Leader for Security and Safety Operations to spearhead our global data center portfolio. This is a critical leadership position responsible for the strategic implementation and enforcement of TikTok’s safety and security policies. You will be at the forefront of protecting our physical infrastructure and ensuring the well-being of our personnel across a rapidly expanding global footprint.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and operational excellence. You will oversee physical security protocols, Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards, and crisis management frameworks. We are looking for a leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and possesses the vision to build resilient security cultures within hyper-scale data center environments.
As a key member of our Infrastructure team, you will collaborate with cross-functional partners in Engineering, Legal, and Compliance to ensure that our facilities remain secure, compliant, and operational 24/7. Your leadership will directly impact TikTok's ability to provide a safe and reliable experience for millions of users worldwide.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute a global strategy for physical security and EHS across all TikTok data center locations.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of security professionals and vendors to ensure operational consistency.
- Establish and audit rigorous safety protocols to comply with international standards and local regulations.
- Manage large-scale budgets for security technology, personnel, and facility maintenance.
- Oversee incident response planning, including crisis management and business continuity for physical threats.
- Collaborate with global infrastructure leads to integrate security-by-design into new data center builds.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability analysis to proactively mitigate threats to physical assets.
- Drive a culture of safety excellence and continuous improvement through training and global policy updates.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in security operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within data center environments.
- Proven expertise in physical security systems (CCTV, Access Control, Biometrics) and EHS management systems.
- Strong understanding of global safety regulations and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC2, OSHA).
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing large, distributed teams and external vendors.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, CISM, or equivalent safety certifications.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex security requirements into actionable operational plans.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders and external regulatory bodies.
- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
