Tanggung Jawab
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including SaaS licenses, channel partner agreements, and master service agreements.
- Provide strategic legal counsel to sales leadership and regional management on deal structures, risk mitigation, and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Security, and Product, to ensure seamless execution of commercial initiatives.
- Navigate and provide guidance on regional legal requirements, data privacy (including GDPR and regional equivalents), and local regulatory matters.
- Manage external counsel across various APAC jurisdictions to ensure cost-effective and high-quality legal support.
- Develop and implement scalable legal processes and contract playbooks to support rapid company growth.
- Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders regarding contract best practices and risk management policies.
Kualifikasi
- Juris Doctor (JD) or Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of 8-12 years of relevant experience in a top-tier law firm and/or in-house legal department within the tech industry.
- Deep understanding of SaaS business models and complex enterprise software licensing.
- Proven ability to negotiate multi-million dollar deals with international enterprise customers.
- Excellent command of English; proficiency in an additional APAC language is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a business-centric, pragmatic approach to legal risks.
- Ability to thrive in a remote-first, fast-moving, and asynchronous working environment.
